The Timekeeper has existed since before the first clock was built. His torn crimson cloak bears the marks of every era crossed — each tear is a century consumed. The pocket watch he holds doesn't mark the hours: it marks destinies. The hourglass he carries doesn't count minutes — it counts lives. The gears surrounding him are not decoration: they are the very mechanisms of the universe, and he is their absolute guardian.

When the Timekeeper raises his watch, time stops. Everyone but him.
