Gargoyle II does not guard a cathedral — he guards the dead themselves. The gothic graveyard on which he stands is not a resting place: it is his throne. The headstones surrounding him bear a single inscription: Memento Mori. Quod Es Eris. Remember that you will die. What you are, you will be. The crows at his sides are not decoration — they are his messengers, his eyes in the world of the living. The chains wrapping the gate do not imprison him — they imprison anyone who dares to approach. His torn and worn wings tell of centuries of endless vigil.

No one enters his graveyard without his permission. No one leaves without his judgment.
