Hero Craft 3D's commission service allows you to obtain a unique SLA resin piece — from 3D modeling to the finished physical piece, produced on-demand with free shipping.
Whether you have an original character, a tabletop concept, a figure to reinterpret, or an idea yet to be defined, the process always starts with a clear brief and is built together.
How it works
- Brief and references — Describe the character, pose, style, scale, and desired finishes. The more visual references you have, the better the start. Professional drawings are not needed: images, descriptions, and clear indications of what is essential and what can be freely interpreted are sufficient.
- 3D Modeling — The modeler develops the concept digitally, with one or more intermediate revisions to refine the pose, proportions, and details. This is the longest phase and the one that determines the quality of the final result.
- Review and approval — Before proceeding with printing, the file is shared for final approval. Any corrections are handled at this stage.
- Printing and post-processing — The piece is printed in SLA resin, washed, cured, assembled, and finished. The finish can be raw (no painting) or hand-painted.
- Shipping — The piece is carefully packaged and shipped with tracking. Shipping is free.
Estimated times
Most projects are completed in 3–8 weeks from brief confirmation. Times vary based on complexity, number of revisions, and production queue.
- Simple bust with clear references: 3–4 weeks
- Full statue with accessories and scenic base: 5–8 weeks
- Complex or multi-character projects: to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis
Available finishes
- No Painting (raw) — Monochromatic resin, ready to be painted or displayed as is. Ideal for those who want to customize or prefer the sculptural aesthetic.
- Hand-painted — Complete pictorial finish with shading, highlights, and chromatic details. Additional time compared to the raw version.
